Neuroimaging Core of NYU Langone’s Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center

The neuroimaging core of NYU Langone’s Alzheimer Disease Research Center supports research on Alzheimer’s and related dementias by developing and applying advanced imaging techniques to aid early diagnosis, track disease progression, and inform novel diagnostics and treatments.

Biomarkers of Abnormal Brain Aging

This research investigates early mechanisms of abnormal brain aging and validates early biomarkers to identify pre-symptomatic stages before clinical symptoms appear.

Neural Underpinning of Cognitive and Behavioral Deficits in Psychotic Spectrum Disorders

This research uses a multi-modal approach to reveal the neural mechanisms underlying psychotic spectrum disorders and to provide objective biomarkers for assessing disease progression and treatment efficacy.

Researchers at the Center for Biomedical Imaging at NYU Langone Health develop transformative imaging technologies to advance basic science and address unsolved clinical problems.
